V Is For Change!

I made this today. Please use it. Post it anywhere and everywhere you please. We can do more than just talk, we can unite under one symbol, be it this one or another. Not as a banner for hate, but a banner for peace, justice, prosperity, and in defense of those who cannot defend themselves. I was inspired when I saw V For Vendetta, then today I watched Sophie Scholl, The Final Days and was awe struck by the similarities between those two films and what is happening today. Forget the comparisons to Hitler or the Nazis, they are not relevant. What is relevant is the propaganda that we have been force fed by the big money machines, spewed forth by the Media. If not for the internet, we might be living in an even more repressive and corrupt society than we currently have.

I am not advocating violence, but I am advocating waking up and not being afraid to speak the truth. There are way too many who cower at the thought of saying or posting anything that may be able to be used by the right wing machine against us. Wake up, they will use anything they can get and what they don't have they will fabricate. Stop being afraid and politically correct. Use this symbol to help make your point if you feel so inclined. Make a badge, or a poster, or a sticker. Make a difference. Many of you may think we already have a symbol, but you are wrong. All of them are tainted by corruption, especially our nation's flag. Until we take back what is rightfully ours and ensure that the flag is given back the respect and honor it deserves we can not use it for anything except to fan the flames and drumbeats for war that are already being lit and beaten. Too many have shed their blood for what should be the symbol for freedom, but that symbol has been degraded by the likes of Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumesfeld, et. al., and it is now looked upon by a majority of the world as a symbol of oppression, not freedom. Yes, we will be told that to say this is unpatriotic and gives aid to the "evil doers" but we know the truth, which is that the greatest threat the those who seek to do us harm is to stand up and dissent, to take a symbol and wear it, post it, wave it high in the face of those who really seek to stifle our freedom. You already know who most of them are and all the others will reveal themselves by denouncing you if you dare to stand up and really speak the truth. I wish it was not Us and Them, but it is and that is that. May we all find the courage that Sophie Scholl found, and use it to make our nation great again.
